JOB SUMMARY:

At a start-up stage of the Driscoll’s Rest of Asia (DOA-ROA) organization, this Key Account Manager will be instrumental in managing the Malaysia key account customers as well as the driving of sales of the market.

This position requires an ability to do sales execution, marketing program implementation and customer development. All 3 competencies that are critically important to further expand the footprint of Driscoll's in Malaysia.

Initially, this professional needs to work as a contributor in sales under the guidance from Regional Commercial Manager, and gradually will build independent sales capabilities to execute the strategic plan for the fresh berry category growth with our key customers, distributors, and new channel partners in Malaysia.

This professional will be highly responsible for the communication between customers and various Driscoll’s business units to ensure that supply is catered to demand under the guidance from Regional Commercial Manager.

With a close collaboration with the ROA team, this professional is responsible to establish a year-round berry supply to delight Driscoll’s berry consumers in Malaysia and to enhance Driscoll’s supply reliability.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Food Science, Agriculture or Business
  • 4+ years of experience in sales and marketing, business development, or a related field in FMCG
  • Proven track record of achieving sales revenue and market share growth targets
  • Strong data analytical and problem-solving skills
  • High proficiency with Microsoft Excel
  • Self-Motivated with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Willingness to travel as needed
  • Flexible working hours, working from home with possible off hours meeting
  • Knowledge and Experience with ERP system is a plus point

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

  • Provide customers with crops and supply update to provide better demand planning
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, partners, and stakeholders, both internal and external
  • Day to Day Sales Activities for Malaysia Market
  • Initiate sales and marketing discussion and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue and market share growth targets.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful execution of sales plans and marketing initiatives.
  • Analyze market trends and customer needs to ensure sales consistency as well as identify new sales opportunities.
  • Develop and manage country demand forecasts, short term, medium term and long term.
  • Engage in the development of country sales budget.
  • Responsible for customer credit management
  • Ensure compliance with company sales policies, procedures and internal control
  • Provide leadership and guidance to cross-functional teams to ensure high levels of engagement and performance.
