Executive, Customer Service (Ocean Freight)

We are looking for experienced talents who specialist in Customer Care and operation with logistic knowledge to join our Ocean Freight team.

This role will be responsible to provide assistant to general operational ocean freight functions.

The role require to execute the below tasks and initiative:


  • General correspondences with customer, suppliers (Carrier, Warehouse, Transporter)agents and other inter-department for ocean freight movements
  • Monitor and coordinate export & import ocean freight movements – Booking, Transport arrangement, vessel movement, Delivery
  • Prepare relevant documentation for customer – Booking, Bill of lading, CO/FTA, Shipping document, Invoicing
  • Coordinate routine customer reports & any customer’s platform
  • Maintain records and filing as per ISO requirements and standards
  • Respond to internal enquiries and complaints while coordinating with other department on ocean freight needs
  • Monitor internal data & system compliance


To be successful in this role, we are expecting the below:


  • Possess Diploma/ Bachelor Degree in Logistic Management & Transportation or any equivalent academic background.
  • Minimum 2 year working experience in the freight forwarding business.
  • Exposure to Freight Forwarding will be added advantage.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, including word, Excel and PowerPoint as well as Microsoft Outlook
