Job Description

The Key Account Executive position is responsible for sales, development and growth of specific key accounts in alignment with company sales processes, plans and objectives. The candidate will assist and work together with the Key Account Manager to develop Customer Business Plans and execute the plans with the collaboration with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

  • Develops a good & trustworthy relationship with a portfolio of Key customers
  • Acquires a thorough understanding of key customer needs and requirements
  • Expands the relationships with existing customers by continuously proposing solutions that meet their objectives
  • Ensures the correct products and services are delivered to customers in a timely manner
  • Serves as the link of communication between key customers and Commercial internal teams
  • Resolves any issues and problems faced by customers and deal with complaints to maintain trust
  • Plays an integral part in generating new sales that will turn into long-lasting relationships
  • Prepares regular reports of progress and forecasts to internal and external stakeholders using key account metrics
  • Travels extensively to customer accounts


Qualifications

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

Specific skills required include: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills and negotiation skills, good business acumen, ability to make presentations to various sized customer groups

Work Environment:

  • Work with cross-functional teams
  • Travel as necessary


Experience:

  • A minimum of 3 years business and field sales experiences in FMCG / medical / healthcare with B2B and B2C environment
  • Strong understanding of customer and market dynamics and requirements
  • Experience and demonstrated track record of performance and results


Education:

  • Bachelor Degree of business, science or technical related optical experience
  • Bachelor of Optometry
