Job Responsibility

  • Assist Outlet Chef/ Assistance outlet chef in day in day out operation, include: Ensuring food quality, designing menu, mise en place planning, training, discipline, stock management and hygiene.
  • Ensuring station mise en place in well prep.
  • Making sure wastage is under control and stock supply is sufficient. include monthly stock take.
  • Monitoring High standard quality of  food at all stages from mise en place to final platting;
  • Ensuring and execute daily task. Include, daily cleaning task, prep, ordering and execution.
  • Ensure conformity and maintenance of all tools, equipment and work area.
  • Ensure how food should be presented, and creating decorative food displays.
  • Monitoring all cooks performance and personal hygiene.
  • Preparing, seasoning and cooked food is all up to standard.
  • Train, explaining and enforcing hygiene and food safety regulations.
  • Kitchen staff discipline and personal hygiene.

Job Requirements

  • Can understand MANDARIN & English
  • SPM/Diploma/Degree or higher academic qualifications in any relevant fields.
  • Candidate should possess at least 1 year working experience in any cuisine but have interest in  Japanese cuisine or western cuisine.
  • Ability to work with a team
  • Good written and verbal communication skills. Fluent in Mandarin, Bahasa Malaysia and English.
  • Good attitude, respectful and responsible character.
  • Humble, passionate, proactive, never stop learning attitude and creative
  • Able to multitask and problem-solving skill.
