Finance Executive

As our Finance Executive, you will play a crucial role in:

1) Financial Reporting and Analysis:

• ensure accurate and timely financial reporting, both for internal management and external stakeholders.
• preparing weekly, monthly, and annual financial statements, along with ad-hoc reports as required.
• analyse financial data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement, providing actionable insights to the leadership team to support strategic decision-making.

2) Budgeting and Financial Forecasting:

• develop and monitor budgets across the organisation.
• prepare financial forecasts to project the company’s future performance.
• ensure that resources are allocated effectively to support business goals.
• collaboration with department heads and senior management to align financial objectives with operational plans.

3) Cash Flow and Treasury Management:

• monitor accounts payable and receivable.
• ensure timely and accurate payroll processing.
• handle claims and conduct bank reconciliation and closing activities.

4) Compliance and Risk Management:

• ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations, tax laws, and internal policies.
• Coordinate with auditors, tax agents, and regulatory authorities to meet statutory reporting requirements and manage financial risks.
• Implement and maintain strong internal controls to safeguard the company’s assets and ensure the accuracy of financial records.

Requirements:

1. A Bachelor’s Degree/Diploma in Finance/Accounting or equivalent.
2. At least 1+ years of working experience in a related field.
3. Proficient use of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
4. Proficient use of accounting software such as Xero.
5. Proficient in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
6. Extremely detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy.
7. Strong organisational and analytical skills.
