Accounting Duties

  • Record and reconcile daily sales and collections in both books and systems.
  • Perform data entry for monthly accrual journal accurately and timely.
  • Prepare and issue proper tax invoices and credit notes to all relevant inter-company entities.
  • Handle monthly bank reconciliations and ensure accuracy in records.
  • Reconcile debtors and inter-company transactions to maintain accuracy in accounts.
  • Prepare all supporting sub-schedules related to management accounts.
  • Participate in monthly stock takes and audits to ensure inventory accuracy.
  • Maintain financial records, including data entry, reconciliations, and month-end reporting.
  • Manage accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely invoicing and payment processing.
  • Assist in preparing financial statements, budgets, and periodic financial reports.
  • Support cash flow management and expense tracking.
  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards, company policies, and tax laws.
  • Provide documentation and data for audit processes.

    Operational Duties

    • Oversee compliance with regulatory requirements, including business licenses, permits, and legal registrations.
    • Maintain records of licenses, registrations, and renewals, ensuring proactive management of deadlines.
    • Liaise with legal advisors and regulatory bodies to stay informed of compliance requirements (e.g.SIRIM, MOF, ISO, MPOB and etc)
    • Prepare, submit, and track documentation for licenses, renewals, and other compliance-related filings. (e.g.SIRIM, MOF, ISO, MPOB, MDEC, MATRADE and etc)
    • Verify the accuracy and completeness of dealer documentation submissions, ensuring alignment with internal policies and regulatory standards.
    • Conduct internal audits related to compliance and prepare regular reports on compliance and documentation status.
    • Collaborate cross-departmentally to maintain compliance and streamline processes.

  • Min.LCCI, Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 2+years of experience in accounting ideally in a fast-paced setting.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles, legal compliance requirements, and document verification.
  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., SQL) and Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
  • Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail, multitasking abilities, and a proactive mindset.

  • Proficiency in English, Mandarin, and Bahasa Malaysia languages are required.
