About the Role

We are excited to offer an internship opportunity within Principal's Project Management team, providing a hands-on experience in the dynamic world of investment. Under the guidance of the project manager, you will be participating in project meetings and learn the undertakings of project and IT system implementation. Key responsibilities include assisting Project Managers with the following:

  • Interact with C-Suite and HOD PAs in scheduling sessions and meetings
  • Take notes and prepare minutes of meeting
  • Register and follow up on projects risk and issues
  • Prepare weekly progress update and steering committee slides
  • Follow up and obtain action item updates, thereafter, discuss next steps on delayed items with the project manager.
  • Assist in automating trackers, dashboards, Jira workflows, etc

Qualifications:

  • Candidates must possess or must be currently pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in the field of Information Systems/Technology, Management, Economics, Business Administration/Analytics, Project Management, Actuarial Science or Computer Science.
  • CGPA of 3.6 and above.
  • Working knowledge in Microsoft Office tools such as Words, Excel, Powerpoint, and collaboration tools such as MS TeamsKnowledge on technical tools, such as excel macros, Power BI, or others to aid with automation is an added advantage.
  • Self-starter with the ability to work both independently and as a part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Willing to be based in KL City Center
  • Able to commit to an internship period of at least 4-5 months (Final year students will be given priority due to the ability to intern beyond the university’s required duration while waiting to graduate)
