Job Overview:

The Senior Manager, Group Reporting & Consolidation is responsible for overseeing the preparation, consolidation, and accuracy of group financial reports. This role ensures compliance with regulatory standards and provides critical financial insights. Additional duties include managing group cash flow and gearing forecasts, overseeing statutory reporting for Investment Holding and Treasury entities, and offering financial advisory to various Group functions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Financial Reporting & Compliance: Lead the preparation and consolidation of group financial statements, ensuring they meet regulatory standards, including Bursa listing requirements and other relevant guidelines.
  • Budgeting & Forecasting: Direct budgeting and forecasting processes, delivering precise financial forecasts and supporting strategic decision-making.
  • Investment Holding (IH) & Treasury Reporting: Manage financial reporting for IH and Treasury entities, focusing on cash flow and gearing projections to ensure regulatory compliance.
  • Financial Insights: Provide analytical support to senior leadership to aid in decision-making and strategic planning.
  • Advisory Support: Offer financial guidance to departments like HR, Strategy, and Corporate Management, as needed.
  • Team Leadership: Mentor and lead a team of finance professionals while maintaining strong communication with external auditors and stakeholders.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance, with advanced qualifications (MBA, ICAEW, ACCA, CPA) preferred.
  • 8–10 years in group financial reporting, with a background in treasury considered beneficial.
  • Proficient in financial systems (e.g., Sigma, SAP, Oracle) and well-versed in accounting standards (MFRS) and regulations (Bursa Listing Rules, Companies Act 2016).
