The ideal candidate will be responsible to manage the overall project execution from FEED until Hook-Up & Commissioning, and up to First Production by Q4-2025. The ideal candidate will effectively monitor and present project updates to relevant stakeholders, clients, or project team members.

Key Accountabilities :

a) Leading the project team, establishing the project execution approach and overseeing project hand-over, execution planning and monitoring and control activities for both internal and external resources in order to accomplish all project goals, providing performance feedback regarding allocated resources working on projects

b) Oversee the development of deliverables necessary for the implementation of the project and shall coordinate resources to ensure that the project deliverables are completed in accordance with the project schedule.

c) Manage the delivery and performance of third-party service providers to develop FEED and Detailed Engineering.

d) Assess/verify, define and prepare the project OCS, Project Execution Plan, cost estimates and schedule for execution.

e) Effectively monitoring and controlling project progress and efficient resource utilization, monitoring and controlling project financials, overseeing project invoicing status, cost, expenses and cash flow, identifying, qualifying, quantifying and managing project risks and ensuring that all opportunities are identified and pursued.

f) Plan and implement assurance process at critical control points (milestones) of the AKW project delivery supported by internal Technical Authorities (discipline engineers) and 3rd party quality & project assurance.

g) Capturing, analyzing and sharing lessons learned throughout the project, driving the formal acceptance of the project, contract close-out and acknowledgement by internal & external stakeholders, all in accordance with the contract.

h) Ensuring that the project consistently applies contract and claims management in accordance with PETRA policies and contractual agreements, ensuring that required procurement activities for services, materials and equipment for the project from external and internal suppliers are performed by the assigned resources

i) Closely interacting and collaborating with respective functions, supporting Procurement and Logistics in supplier negotiations, claims and project changes, acting as the key contact for PETRA and an escalation point for project issues

j) Building and maintaining strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders and effectively communicating with all stakeholders, ensuring the project follows and complying with company health, safety and environmental policies, co-creating project HSE plans and ensuring that common HSE policies and reporting are implemented across the project with all stakeholders, including contractors & suppliers.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in engineering or equivalent experience.
  • 15 years minimum oil and gas experience in the Exploration and Production sector, assuming a variety of roles. Must include project management core role for at least 10 years, with experience in project delivery in Client role.
  • Knowledge of onshore oil & gas production facilities project delivery.
