IT Project Manager

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled IT Project Manager with 7-10 years of experience in IT project management. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of successfully managing complex IT projects from inception to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.

Key Responsibilities:

• Project Planning and Management:Develop detailed project plans, including scope, schedule, budget, and resource allocation. Monitor and track project progress
• Stakeholder Communication:Serve as the primary point of contact for project stakeholders. Facilitate communication and ensure all parties are informed of project status, risks, and issues
• Risk Management:Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies. Monitor and manage risks throughout the project lifecycle
• Team Leadership:Lead and motivate project teams, ensuring team members have clear roles and responsibilities. Provide guidance and support to team members
• Quality Assurance:Ensure project deliverables meet quality standards and client expectations. Conduct regular quality reviews and implement improvements as needed
• Budget Management:Manage project budgets, track expenses, and ensure financial accountability. Report on budget status and variances
• Documentation:Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including project plans, status reports, and post-project evaluations
  
  

Qualifications:

• Education:Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. PMP or equivalent certification is preferred
• Experience:7-10 years of experience in IT project management, with a strong understanding of project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall)
• Technical Skills:Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Microsoft Project, JIRA). Strong understanding of IT infrastructure, software development, and system integration
• Soft Skills:Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills. Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Certifications:PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent project management certification is highly desirable
