As the Technical Leader for Data Products and Data Pipeline solutions, you will be responsible for providing technical leadership and expertise in the design, development, and deployment of data products and data pipeline solutions built on the AWS and Snowflake platforms. You will lead a team of skilled data engineers and data scientists to deliver scalable, reliable, and high-performance data solutions that drive business value.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the technical architecture and design of data products and data pipeline solutions on the AWS platform, ensuring scalability, security, and performance.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to the team, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers and business stakeholders, to align technical solutions with business objectives and requirements.
- Create technical documentation and design of the solutions
- Drive the development and execution of the technical roadmap for data product development on AWS, leveraging best practices and industry standards.
- Oversee the quality assurance processes, including code reviews, testing, and documentation, to ensure the robustness and reliability of data products.
- Communicate complex technical concepts and decisions effectively to non-technical stakeholders, contributing to a shared understanding of the value and impact of data products.
- Qualifications:
- Proven experience in technical leadership roles, with a focus on building data products and data pipeline solutions on the AWS platform.
- In-depth knowledge of AWS services such as Lambda, Fargate, EC2, S3, AWS Glue, Athena, Step Functions, Event Bridge, SQS and related data technologies.
- Strong understanding of data architecture, data modeling, and ETL processes in the context of AWS-based solutions and Snowflake.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams and levels of the organization.
- Optimize and fine-tune data pipelines for performance and scalability.
- Troubleshoot and resolve data-related issues, ensuring the reliability of the data infrastructure.
- Knowledge of SQL for data querying and manipulation.
- Ability to work with structured and unstructured data sources.
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.

- DevOps Tools: GitLab CI/CD, AWS CDK
- Experience with Snowflake (WHs, dbt, vault)
- Nice to have: experience with Liquibase"
