Interior Designer

About The Job

• Engage with customers to understand their inquiries and attend client meetings.
• Visualize and create design drawings/plans that align with clients' goals and preferences.
• Communicate design concepts and drawings to contractors for accurate execution.
• Prepare quotations based on the proposed design and materials.
• Develop visual content for marketing materials to support company branding.
• Oversee construction processes to ensure adherence to design specifications.
• Work with architectural blueprints, including creating, reading, and editing as needed.
• Select and coordinate design elements like paint colors, lighting fixtures, and furniture.
• Maintain a well-organized portfolio of company designs for branding and reference.
• Assist in delivering client presentations with clear communication and visuals.
• Provide administrative support as required on an ad hoc basis.
• Collaborate effectively with team members to meet project timelines and deliverables.

To be successful in this role, you will need to have the below:

• Possess Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Interior Design, Interior Architecture, or equivalent
• Proficiency in 2D design software with the ability to complete design work independently.
• Understand the overall flow and deadlines of projects, and possess up-to-date knowledge of current design trends
• Ability to work effectively in a team and deliver projects within designated timelines.
• Possess excellent presentation and communication skills.
• Conduct on-site observation and provide recommendations to help streamline ongoing design projects when needed.
