Job Summary:

GEGM mission is to be preferred insurer for Retail, Affinity partnership and SME businesses. Reset Direct and Affinity Partnership is one of the transformational focus in order for GEGM to achieve its ambition by 2028.

This role is crucial to develop the partnership affinity channel to be a significant channel contributor towards the bottom-line of company through growing existing Partnership base across key industry segments and enabled digital platform. The scope includes end-to-end of partners management including acquisition, on-boarding to go live as well as sustenance customers life cycle and partners management, so that we can maximise value from the partnership to grow the top line and bottom line of company.

The Job:

  • Oversees and manages key account management for Affinity Partnership.
  • Grow Affinity Partnership portfolio for the purpose of creating opportunities and delivering new source of business growth for GEGM.
  • To deliver and achieve the departmental business target (GWP).
  • Partnership management, which includes strategise and identify relevant partners in the market based on criteria set, canvassing partners through idea pitching for potential collaboration, and relationship building with partners.
  • Lead partner’s product development, marketing negotiation and launches. This includes ensuring project development and launches are on schedule.
  • Identify, manage and monitor risk and compliance arising from departmental / regulatory and to ensure that any identified issues are properly assessed, mitigated and documented.
  • Carry out ad-hoc, special assignment from manager from time to time, day to day operational/reporting tasks in achieving overall strategic direction/goal of department.
  • Improve the customer engagement and communication with the partners.
  • Maintain governance discipline in performance delivery, compliance and risk management.
  • Uphold and takes accountability in considering business and regulatory compliance risks and takes appropriate steps to mitigate the risks.
  • Maintains awareness of industry trends on regulatory compliance, emerging threats and technologies in order to understand the risk and better safeguard the company.
  • Highlights any potential concerns /risks and proactively shares best risk management practices.

The Person:

  • ⁠Extensive experience in leadership and relationship management.
  • Demonstrate proven track record in strategic planning, performance delivery and project management.
  • Strong facilitation, coordination, interpersonal, negotiation & communication skills.
  • Mindset and behavior of growth, with clear thought process on decision making and problem solving.
  • Basic knowledge of legal, risk and compliance/regulation in relation to insurance.
  • High level of integrity, takes accountability of work and good attitude over teamwork.
  • Takes initiative to improve current state of things and adaptable to embrace new changes.
