The Project Manager - Network is responsible for overseeing and managing the delivery of network-related projects. This role involves coordinating with contractors and vendors, leading project planning and implementation, and ensuring projects are completed on time, within scope, and within budget. The OSP Project Manager will be responsible for the entire project lifecycle, from initiation to completion, ensuring high-quality outcomes and effective communication with all stakeholders.
Responsibilities:
- Manage Contractor/Vendor Relations: Oversee and manage contractor/vendor performance to ensure project delivery.
- Project Planning and Implementation: Lead the planning and execution of network projects.
- Scope and Goals Definition: Facilitate the definition of project scope, goals, and deliverables.
- Task and Resource Management: Define project tasks and resource requirements.
- Project Plan Development: Develop comprehensive project plans.
- Team Coordination: Assemble and coordinate project staff.
- Budget Management: Manage the project budget.
- Resource Allocation: Allocate project resources efficiently.
- Timeline Scheduling: Plan and schedule project timelines.
- Progress Tracking: Track project deliverables using appropriate tools.
- Team Support: Provide direction and support to the project team.
- Quality Assurance: Ensure the quality of project deliverables.
- Progress Monitoring and Reporting: Constantly monitor and report on project progress to all stakeholders.
- Report Presentation: Present reports defining project progress, problems, and solutions.
- Change Management: Implement and manage project changes and interventions to achieve project outputs.
- Project Evaluation: Conduct project evaluations and assess results.
- End-to-End Project Management: Oversee the entire project lifecycle from start to finish.
Requirements:
- Educational Background: Possess at least a Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Telecommunication, or a related field.
- Technical Knowledge: Knowledge of OSP (Outside Plant) & ISP (Inside Plant) in the telecommunications industry is an added advantage.
- Telco Electrical Setup: Familiarity with telecommunications electrical setup.
- Problem-solving and Reporting Skills: Excellent problem-solving and reporting abilities.
- Interpersonal and Communication Skills: Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Analytical Skills: Good analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Time Management: Ability to prioritize tasks with effective time management.
- Independence and Teamwork: A self-starter who can work independently as well as part of a team.
