Job Overview:

Collektr is seeking a dynamic and driven Sales Acquisition Specialist to accelerate our growth as Asia's premier livestream auction platform for collectibles. This role will focus on acquiring new customers, expanding relationships with existing sellers and buyers, and helping us meet ambitious sales targets.

The ideal candidate will bring a competitive spirit and a strong understanding of digital and livestream marketplaces, positioning Collektr as a preferred platform within the trading card games (TCG), pop culture, and high-end collectibles sectors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Business Development: Identify, engage, and acquire new sellers and buyers, focusing on high-growth categories (e.g., TCG, collectibles, pop culture). Drive revenue through strategic account growth, achieving individual and team sales targets.
  • Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing sellers and buyers, ensuring a seamless experience on Collektr. Conduct regular check-ins to encourage engagement and increase sales.
  • Market & Competitive Analysis: Conduct market research to identify new customer segments and optimize targeting strategies. Use insights from competitor analysis to position Collektr’s unique value proposition effectively.
  • Product Demonstration & Platform Training: Host live, online platform walkthroughs and product demos for prospective sellers, illustrating Collektr's key benefits such as low fees, easy listing options, and seller-centric tools. Explain how Collektr’s features, like Livestream Auctions and Tiered Listings, can enhance product visibility and accelerate sales.
  • Customer Data Management: Regularly update and maintain customer records, ensuring accurate information on client needs, preferences, and sales activity.
  • After-Sales Support & Issue Resolution: Act as a dedicated point of contact for customer concerns, complaints, and inquiries. Willing to travel locally as needed to assist high-value clients and facilitate customer support.
  • Platform Feedback Collection: Gather feedback from sellers and buyers to communicate platform improvements to the product team, helping to enhance the user experience and competitive positioning.
  • Event & Marketplace Presence: Represent Collektr at trade shows, conventions, and relevant industry events, strengthening brand awareness and building a pipeline of potential customers.
  • Other Tasks: Contribute to team-wide goals and participate in other sales and marketing projects as assigned by management.

  • Requirements:

    • Personality: Energetic, self-motivated, and proactive, with a competitive edge and team-oriented mindset.
    • Experience: At least 2 years in a sales or acquisition role within digital marketplaces or e-commerce platforms (experience in livestreaming platforms, such as Whatnot, is an advantage). High-potential fresh graduates with relevant internships or experiences are also encouraged to apply.
    • Skills: Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with an ability to convey Collektr’s unique benefits effectively to various client personas.
    • Languages: Fluent in Malay and English. Proficiency in Mandarin is an advantage.
    • Additional Requirements: Valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle, with a willingness to travel within Malaysia to meet clients and support sales initiatives.
