LOCATION: KL, Malaysia (onsite-visa provided)

We are seeking an experienced Middleware ESB Administrator with a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience, particularly within the banking or insurance sectors. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the installation, configuration, and maintenance of the ESB infrastructure. They will ensure seamless integration of various applications, providing support and troubleshooting as needed to maintain optimal system performance.

Key Responsibilities:

Installation and Configuration:

  • Install, configure, and maintain ESB environments.
  • Deploy and manage integration solutions using ESB tools.

System Administration:

  • Monitor ESB performance and implement necessary adjustments.
  • Manage ESB servers and ensure high availability and reliability.
  • Perform routine maintenance and upgrades.

Integration Management:

  • Develop and implement integration solutions for various applications.
  • Ensure seamless data flow between systems using ESB.
  • Work closely with application teams to understand integration requirements.

Troubleshooting and Support:

  • Provide Level 2/3 support for ESB-related issues.
  • Diagnose and resolve performance issues.
  • Maintain detailed documentation of incidents and resolutions.

Security and Compliance:

  • Implement security measures to protect data integrity.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.

Collaboration:

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, architects, and business analysts.
  • Participate in project meetings and provide input on ESB-related matters.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience as an ESB Administrator or in a similar role.
  • Proven experience in the banking or insurance industry.
  • Strong knowledge of ESB tools and technologies (e.g., IBM WebSphere, MuleSoft, Apache Camel, Oracle Service Bus).
  • Proficiency in integration patterns, SOA (Service-Oriented Architecture), and RESTful/SOAP web services.
  • Experience with monitoring tools and performance tuning.
  • Familiarity with security standards and best practices for ESB.
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Skills:

  • Certification in ESB technologies.
  • Experience with cloud-based ESB solutions.
  • Knowledge of DevOps practices and tools.
  • Understanding of Agile methodologies.
