Job Description

About the role

As a young and expanding organization, we are looking to hire a Technical Recruiter to join our Malaysia team who needs to have an expert understanding of the roles which they hire, as well as the teams and businesses with which they partner. In this role, the recruiter will help in identifying, screening, and building a strong pipeline of best-in-class talent for Mudah and hiring qualified candidates through active headhunting. You will also partner with the People Team and focus on creating an engaging candidate experience, building a strong employer brand for the Mudah and being a trusted Talent advisor to our business leaders.

What You’ll Do:

  • Lead Recruitment Efforts: You will lead recruiting initiatives, work independently on roles, and sometimes partner with teammates on other searches. Apply your knowledge and experience to recruit for Technology and Product roles with ownership of end-to-end recruitment. You will sometimes work as a Researcher on senior or highly complex searches.
  • Build a Talent Pipeline: Develop and maintain a robust pipeline of potential candidates through proactive sourcing from LinkedIn and various job boards, networking, and relationship-building.
  • Leverage Data & Analytics: Use recruitment metrics and data-driven insights to refine sourcing strategies and optimize the hiring process.
  • Candidate Experience: Cultivate strong interpersonal relationships with candidates, Ensuring candidates understand the opportunity they’re exploring, as well as our culture by having a deep understanding of specific business areas, markets, and functions.
  • Stakeholder Management: Partner with hiring managers and stakeholders to implement the full cycle recruitment process and bring the best talents on board.Act as a talent advisor and subject matter expert for Stakeholders.
  • Stay Ahead of Trends: Keep abreast of the latest developments in the tech industry to understand the specific demands and nuances of various roles.
  • Lead Talent Initiatives: Drive and manage talent acquisition projects, including market mapping, employer branding, and process improvements.
  • Foster Relationships: Partner closely with our functional and country People Business Partners and the leadership team to build Employer Branding strategies that support a high-growth, high-performing organization

Qualifications

What You'll Need to Succeed:

  • Experience: 2+ years of full-cycle technical recruitment experience, ideally start-up/fast-paced organization within the Technology sector or Classifieds or E-commerce space preferred on Software Engineering roles, Product and Data roles.
  • Innovative Sourcing: Proficiency in leveraging social media, recruitment channels, and creative methods to enhance the company's talent brand and engage both active and passive candidates.
  • Proven Track Record: Meeting Recruitment KPIs and demonstrating success in closing tech talent and building a strong network within the tech community.
  • Multitasking & Prioritization: Ability to juggle multiple priorities and a willingness to dive into all aspects of Mudah’s recruiting process with enthusiasm.
  • Tech Savvy: Familiarity with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS), LinkedIn Recruiter, Boolean search expertise, job board sourcing, Facebook, Twitter, and other sourcing tools.

Must Have

  • Boolean search expertise, LinkedIn Recruiter, job board sourcing, Facebook, Twitter, and other sourcing tools.
  • Experience in hiring software engineering/software product (Product Managers, Product Designers, Data Scientists, UX researchers, Content Designer) talents across multiple regions.
  • The ability to work optimally in high-pressure situations and come up with creative ways of hitting your targets

Should Have

  • Managed Senior Stakeholders.Influential communication with stakeholders(Tech, Product, Data)
  • Empathy towards Candidates.
  • Experience with e-commerce space or the internet industry.
