Duties And Responsibilities
- Monitor and supervise WHS_RCV Clerk on daily delivery item from supplier and ensure receive item give to correct end user.
- Understand requirement on inbound project progress claim, Servicing from contractor and any claim from vendor and SQL (Biomass)
- Understand Procedure of Weighing Container, Weighing Chemical, Carton, Scheduled Waste, Non-Schedule Waste, Supplier Item, disposal item Latex, Biomass and Courier item.
- Understand procedure on using Disposal Form and transfer Form.
- Understand and recognise each dispose item need to generate invoice or not.
- Understand and monitor daily import incoming based on scheduled given from Shipping Department and ensure empty container return back to port before end of detention time.
- Understand how to respond and handle abnormality including reject item, wrong key in data in Weighbridge System, problem during daily task and complaining from others department.
- To monitor on subordinates progress and efficiency in performing inbound, outbound, reject items, transfer form and returnable items.
- Manpower arrangement on subordinates or clerk availability for each phase receiving weighing bridge for smooth flow of operation.
- Arrangement on stock count cut off with end user department if necessary.
- To evaluate and complete subordinates’ (if any) mid-term appraisals consisting of KPI and Competencies through the Performance Management System.
Education:
- Preferably with college diploma or equivalent certificate or extensive warehouse supervisory experience of not less than 5 years.
- Minimum five (5) years of warehouse experience and proficient in Warehouse Management System.
- Knowledge of standard practices, procedures, and equipment used in the receipt, storage, requisitioning, and disbursement of stocks & supplies.
- Knowledge of training and supervising techniques and employee policies and procedures.
- Knowledge of the occupational hazards and safety precautions applicable to the work.
- Knowledge of labour relations, equal employment opportunity policies and procedures.
- Strong leadership skill and able to motivate others.
- Can build a team environment and effective relationship.
- Effective communication and strong organization skills.
- Know how prioritize workload, resourceful and attention to detail.
- Good in scheduling task to meet deadlines and possess good customer service skills.
- Proficient in MS Applications, particularly Word & Excel and very familiar with WMS concept and application tools.
- Ability to instruct and supervise employees.
- Ability to control the disbursement of supplies and finished goods through directing the posting of inventory control cards or automated systems.
- Ability to maintain work schedules and uphold work standards.
- Ability to monitor and evaluate program and team performance in order to assess efficiency and effectiveness.
- Ability to analyse and control inventory.
- Ability to maintain records and prepare reports.
- Ability to identify staff development and training needs and ensures that training is conducted and hold informational sessions.
- Ability to communicate effectively with others, both verbally and in writing.
- Constantly maintain 5S in work area.
- Performs related work as assigned.
