Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Data Science, Business Administration (with Business Analytics or equivalent subject) or relevant discipline fit for this role requirement.
  • Minimum seven (7) years relevant working experience in related field.
  • Familiarity with creating live dashboard and data visualization tools
  • Working experience in Government Agency/ GLC is highly desirable.
  • Prior experience supporting senior-level management.
  • Training or certification for analysis, data manipulation and visualization tools and techniques.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint with an intermediate to advanced understanding.
  • Adept at writing and communicating in formal Bahasa Malaysia and English language.

Key Responsibilities:

Data Management and Analysis

  • Gather and organize data from various sources, ensuring data integrity and accuracy.
  • Develop and maintain databases and data systems, including data models and data warehouses.
  • Analyse datasets to identify trends, patterns and anomalies.
  • Utilize statistical techniques and tools to interpret data to generate actionable insights.
  • Prepare and present reports and visualizations that effectively communicate findings.
  • Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in data analysis.

Preparation Reports, Presentation Decks, and Dashboard Monitoring

  • Ensure that information on reports is accurate, formatted to a professional standard, and completed on schedule.
  • Assist in preparing presentations, data summaries, and visuals for internal and external meetings.
  • Create and monitor Human Capital dashboard, follow up on outstanding matters relating to Human Capital reporting submission, ensure that deadlines are met on an on-going basis, and any other duties and responsibilities assigned by Head of Division.

Schedule Management

  • Manage and maintain the Head of Division’s calendar, including scheduling appointments, meetings, arranging detailed travel plans (transportation and logistics), itineraries, and agendas
  • Prioritize tasks and ensure timely reminders to keep activities on track.
  • Adjust the schedule as necessary to accommodate changing priorities.
  • Provide occasional driving support to facilitate local travel when required.

Administration Coordination

  • Manages a variety of administrative responsibilities for the Head of Division including but not limited to, preparation for meetings, presentation materials, drafting management papers, talking points, letter of correspondence, and other relevant materials according to strict deadlines, ensuring achievement of agreed objectives
  • Liaise with other departments to support cross-functional initiatives and foster clear line of communication.
  • Support and involve in the coordination of initiatives organized by the Division and/ or the Corporation in general
  • Perform any other related duties as and when required.

Confidentiality, Discretion, and Governance

  • Handle sensitive information with utmost discretion and maintain confidentiality in all matters.
  • Ensure data security practices are followed to protect proprietary and personal information.
  • Ensure processes are strictly adhered to avoid non-compliance issues.
