Role Summary:

Global Immigration Engagement Management services are vital for our global growth plans and will ensure the success of our Immigration practice. The Global Engagement Management team is a network of professionals across the world who support our KPMG firms in their objectives of providing consistently exceptional services to our clients.

Global Immigration Engagement Management Consultant will support global immigration client engagement with a wide range of activities:

  • Oversee client mailbox management and take forward emails/tasks that need resolution by the CoE or Lead Office team
  • Review weekly and monthly client reports for data accuracy and completeness
  • Prepare agenda for client meetings and coordinate calendar appointments for client and KPMG management meetings
  • Performing and reviewing data cleansing exercises in KIM, Link Go Immigration
  • Take forward client requests and connect with the KPMG network in order to retrieve the information required. Report back to the Assistant Manager prior communicating the information to the client
  • Support the KDN Operations team to ensure up-to-date records of applicants' status and information in the KIM/ Link Go Immigration tracking system
  • Recognise and raise potential matters of risk for the client or the firm to Assistant Manager or Manager for review and resolution in a timely manner
  • Provide introductory training to KPMG immigration technology software to local offices and new joiners
  • Work closely with the KDN Operations team in order to grant and withdraw system access to clients or internal team members

This role will also have the chance to contribute to the continuous development of our global processes and technology to support the consistency of high levels of service delivery across our client engagements globally. The successful candidate should have a deep understanding of immigration matters, strong communication skills, credibility, and the ability to drive success within the KPMG network.

Responsibilities:

Ensure High Quality of Process Delivery:

  • Demonstrate the awareness of KPMG's risk management policies and procedures and support engagement administration
  • Work with attention to detail to deliver results to agreed standards
  • Make optimal use of financial resources.
  • Prioritise and deals with daily tasks to make most productive use of time
  • Keep others updated on the status of tasks
  • Ask for support and escalate upward when appropriate
  • Contribute to and abide by team decisions
  • Take accountability for making sound and timely decisions within scope of responsibilities
  • Take a thorough approach to analysing information and making decisions, knowing what commitments are being entered.

Risk Management:

  • Ability to recognise and raise potential matters of risk for the client and/or the firm to Line Manager for review and resolution in a timely manner.
  • Good awareness of firm's policies and ability to raise concerns to a more senior member of the team for resolution.

Billing and Client Engagement Management:

  • Ensure all time bookings are accurate and timely and achieve chargeable hours target.

Technology:

  • Working/reviewing data cleansing exercise in KIM and LinkGo (if relevant as part of client transition)
  • Review/correct (if necessary) expiry report and share with the AM when report is final and complete
  • Review and distribute WIP report and share with the AM when report is final and error free
  • Grant and withdraw system access to clients or internal team members

Requirements :

  • Undergraduate University degree preferred
  • Good knowledge of immigration processes.
  • Working experience within an Immigration setting
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, demonstrating a high level of integrity and accuracy
  • Project Management: Basic level of organisation and prioritisation skills including ability to project manage multiple GI clients and work under pressure.
  • Strong professionalism and overall confidence
  • Highly efficient with technology/tools
  • Process oriented
  • Ability to collaborate with diverse teams
  • Proficient communicator in written and spoken English (other languages advantageous but not required)
  • Ability to build relationships/ trust both with the internal teams and clients
  • Experience and ability to work with confidential material
  • Proficiency in MS Office tools
