Monks is hiring for an Account Manager.
You'll be client’s main day-to-day contact and key to building and growing relationships with clients through dependability, trustworthiness and professionalism. You have a large appetite in understanding your Client’s business landscape, a keen grasp of the best the agency has to offer, and a fiery ambition to bridge those two.
You will be harnessing, managing and ultimately representing the Agency’s solutions - guiding, motivating and coordinating all stakeholders and team members, be it internal (other departments within the agency) or external (the clients or any external vendors and partners).

Responsibilities
- Engaging and communicating with Clients to understand their business challenges and ambitions, project requirements and any limitations
- Assembling and managing a team to best respond to the Client request and address their business problems
- Briefing, communicating and negotiating objectives, tasks, deliverables and deadlines to external and internal stakeholders
- Guiding teams to develop proposals consisting of, but not limited to, marketing and communication strategies, creative concepts, budgets and timelines
- Leading and managing internal and external meetings and presentations
- Be a strategic thinking and act as a gatekeeper, ensuring that the work aligns with client’s business objectives
- Ensuring timely delivery of projects end-to-end, on budget and meeting the quality excellence expected of the Agency and by Clients
- Establishing and managing processes, roles and responsibilities and tools between Agency and Clients to ensure effective and efficient workflow
- Managing commercial activities, such as developing reasonable and accurate quotes, documenting commercial communication including sign offs and closures, ensuring timely invoicing and payments, updating finance sheets/trackers/tools and assisting in gathering data for profitability analysis
- Leading and facilitating after-action reviews and analysis, rooted in a desire for continuous learning and improvement
- (If applicable) Managing and growing internal team of line reports including Senior Account Executive, Account Executive and Interns
The essentials:
- Have a minimum of 5 years’ experience where project delivery and client management are your main focus
- Have a strong grasp of digital and social media jargon and technology, and a deep interest in new technologies and how they can be harnessed to meet modern challenges
- Have a solutions-driven mindset and an open mind
- Are able to work under pressure and meet deadlines in a fast-paced creative environment
- Are excellent at time and resource management - highly organized and with a keen attention to detail
- See opportunities, take initiatives and see them through
- Are able to effectively and appropriately interact with co-workers at a variety of levels, across many disciplines
- Excellent relationship management skills
- Be a great communicator, presenter and mediator
- Problem-solving oriented
- Have great confidence in liaising with internal and external stakeholders
- Are proficient in Google Suite and are keen to learn new software/tools for day to day tasks
