We are seeking an experienced Marketing Manager to lead marketing initiatives across Asia, with a focus on Chinese-speaking communities. This role will drive brand visibility, player acquisition, and engagement through partnerships, media relations, and strategic campaigns. Written and spoken fluency in English as well as strong networks with Chinese media partners are essential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute marketing strategies tailored to the Asian region, targeting Chinese-speaking communities.
- Identify, secure, and manage partnerships with sponsors, influencers, and media partners to drive sponsorships and collaborations.
- Leverage existing relationships with Chinese-language media and writers to ensure strong media coverage for APT events and tournaments.
- Write and edit high-quality, engaging content for marketing campaigns, ensuring consistent messaging across all channels and audiences.
- Manage SEO, social media, and email strategies, collaborating with external agencies to amplify APT's presence.
- Oversee marketing activities at APT events, working with the operations team to ensure all marketing materials are prepared and distributed on time.
- Execute campaigns for player growth, promotions, paid ads, and loyalty programs, tailored to both new and returning players.
- Work with designers to create marketing assets and ensure brand consistency in all creative outputs.
- Work with marketing team members to align on strategy, providing guidance and feedback when needed.
- Track and optimize campaign performance, using data to refine marketing strategies based on key metrics such as player acquisition, retention, and engagement.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Experienced in digital marketing, including SEO, social media, email marketing, and paid ads.
- Ability to analyze marketing performance and adjust strategies accordingly.
- Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple projects.
- Must be willing and able to travel overseas frequently to event locations (5-7 trips per year, each lasting 10-14 days).
- Strong networks with Chinese-language media and social media platforms preferred.
- Fluent in English, with strong verbal and written skills. Added advantage if you are fluent in Mandarin.
