Responsibilities

  • Providing comprehensive administrative and secretarial support to assigned lawyers, including managing their calendars, scheduling appointments, and organizing travel arrangements
  • Preparing and proofreading various legal documents, such as contracts, agreements, and correspondence
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date client files, records, and databases
  • Coordinating and managing the flow of information and documentation between the legal team and clients
  • Serving as a point of contact for clients, handling inquiries and providing excellent customer service
  • Supporting the wider team with ad-hoc administrative tasks as required

Qualifications

  • Minimum SPM/STPM or a diploma in related fields such as Office Management or Administration.
  • A diploma or certificate in Professional Secretarial Studies, Office Administration, or Business Management is also advantageous.
  • Experience working in a law firm is beneficial, particularly with administrative tasks and managing legal documents
  • Experience using legal or office management software, such as CLIO, MyCase, or any case management system.
  • Basic understanding of legal terms and procedures.
