About the team
In this role you will be responsible for business planning for the assigned business initiatives, contributing to the success of the platform, as well as working cross functionally on strategic direction.
Responsibilities
- Be part of Malaysia TikTok Shop Category & Merchant Strategy's Special Project function, driving high importance outcomes through target setting & tracking, resource planning, allocation & tracking, data analytics, strategic research, and project management;
- Responsible for tracking, monitoring and diagnosis of current issues and proactively alerting the right stakeholders while problem solving.
- Responsible for the analytics and business planning for your assigned business initiatives, including market opportunity assessment, target setting and dissection, business progress tracking, business actions review, and hosting key meeting cadence;
- Working closely with relevant stakeholders and cross functional teams on strategic direction discussion, target alignment, business action planning, and driving the delivery of business results.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent practical experience.
- Minimum 3 years of working experience in consulting/quantitatively analytical roles.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with the ability to pivot and adapt while working towards the desired outcome.
- Great project management and proactive mindset. Past experience in ability to work and influence cross-functionally is preferred. You will need to partner with multiple internal stakeholders in realizing the desired outcome.
- Proficient in research, data analytics, and financial analysis. Able to conduct root cause analysis with both qualitative and quantitative findings. Mastery Excel-based analysis and data tools is a must.
- Strong communication skills with audiences from execution levels to managerial levels.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bonus to have E-commerce industry experience.
- Good to know SQL and python.
