Manager, A/V Producer

Role PurposeThe AV Producer at MAG is responsible for overseeing the planning, production, and delivery of high-quality audiovisual content for various marketing and communication initiatives. This role plays a critical part in enhancing the airline's brand image and engaging with our B2B & B2C customers through captivating audiovisual materials.
Key Accountability- Conceptualize, plan, and execute creative audiovisual content, including videos, podcasts, and animations, to support marketing campaigns, corporate communications, and other business objectives.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, communication, and design, to ensure that content aligns with the company's brand and messaging.
- Manage the end-to-end production process, from pre-production to post-production, including storyboarding, location scouting, shooting, editing, and distribution.
- Establish and manage project timelines, budgets, and resources to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.
- Oversee the maintenance and procurement of audiovisual equipment, ensuring it is up-to-date and properly functioning.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and technological advancements, making recommendations for the integration of new technologies and tools.
- Maintain high production standards for video and audio quality, and ensure content meets legal and regulatory requirements.
- Conduct quality control checks and provide feedback for continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with videographers, editors, graphic designers, and other production team members to execute projects effectively.
- Nurture relationships with external production partners and vendors as needed.
- Develop strategies for content distribution across various digital platforms, including the company website, social media channels, in-flight entertainment, and more.
- Monitor the performance of published content and adjust strategies accordingly.
- Create and manage budgets for audiovisual projects, ensuring responsible allocation of resources and cost efficiency.
Bachelor's degree in Film Production, Media Studies, or a related field with minimum of 8 years of experience as an AV Producer, preferably in the aviation or travel industry.
Areas of Experience- Proficiency with video editing software, graphic design tools, and audio production software.
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Knowledge of aviation industry trends and regulations is a plus.
- A strong portfolio demonstrating your work in audiovisual production.
- Experience with aerial cinematography and drone operation.
- Knowledge of 3D animation and motion graphics.
- Familiarity with content management systems and digital marketing platforms.
