Duties include but not limited to:
- Provides for the overall administrative management of the Health Administration Services Service Line.
- Coordinates the personnel management program for HAS service line, performing or overseeing all aspects of human resources requirements.
- Interpreting administrative policies, developing local polices, defining administrative requirements, and/or providing advice to the Chief on related issues.
- Maintains responsibility for all service correspondence.
- Prepares, edits, and archives all official correspondence requiring the Chiefs signature or approval.
- Reviews and updates all Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) related to Health Administration Services.
- Attends briefings and meetings on behalf of the Chief in his or her absence.
- Schedules or coordinates all service meetings, prepares agenda, and prepares minutes for each.
- Serves as the Contracting Officer Representative (COR) for service line contracts.
- Establishes internal procedures to secure adequate control in terms of deadlines, progress reports, and directives.
Promotion Potential: The selectee may be promoted to the full performance level without further competition when all regulatory, qualification, and performance requirements are met. Selection at a lower grade level does not guarantee promotion to the full performance level.
Work Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 4:30pm
