Senior Executive, Strategic Planning
Jobscope:
Support business planning activities which includes annual business planning & budgeting, establish organisation’s balanced scorecard, conduct analytical & research activities to support the organisation’s strategic plans; short-term and long-term goals.
Key Accountabilities:
• Explore, identify & analyse emerging trends, expansion opportunities, competitive threats, viability assessments, partnership potentials and business process improvements across the Group.
• Conduct market research based on established data & newly acquired data to form investment / strategic hypotheses to support key decision-making of the company.
• Performs financial planning & analysis roles on divisional performances and operational matrices as part of annual strategic planning processes.
• Supports the team in formulating business strategies through thorough review and discussion involving various business units to form a robust value creation plan.
• Forms and integral part of the team that communicates and engage with internal stakeholders as part of the balanced scorecard and KPI-setting activities.
• Supports the team in preparation of investment papers / Board papers & undertake any other duties as directed by the Immediate Supervisor & Management as and when required.
Qualifications:
• Degree in any discipline preferably in Strategy / Finance / Economics / Business Management.
• At least 3 years in strategy, business planning, business development, commercial or strategic communication
