Knowledge/Skills/Competencies

Requirements:-

  • Degree in Industrial Engineering or Manufacturing Process & Systems
  • Minimum 7 years of relevant experience within EMS industry in a junior managerial level
  • Good knowledge in PC tools (esp. Excel, Access), AutoCAD , other work measurement methods
  • Knowledge in Simulation tools eg. Promodel, Witness or Autosched is an added advantage
  • Innovative, analytical, cost conscious and good communication skills to interact with all levels
  • Experience in leading Kaizen; Lean Manufacturing is a must

Detailed Description

Job Responsibilities:-

Capacity Planning

  • To perform detail time study and OEE analysis for capacity model development.
  • To maintain capacity and cost model incorporating equipment, labor and space variables.
  • To analyse capacity , come out with Continous Improvement project and justify investment and ROI

Productivity Improvements

  • To perform detail study on manning requirement, Study and recommend measures to improve manufacturing cost and efficiency.
  • To lead & key member in productivity improvements and cost saving projects.

Space Planning

  • To develop an efficient and EHS compliant plant layout taking into consideration product, material flow, equipment and utility requirement.
  • Project management manufacturing line and infrastructure setup.
  • The scope covers end-to-end, i.e. from conceptual design phase up to production ramp phase.
  • To perform ergonomics study to design and maintain standard manufacturing material handling and racking systems.
  • To lead and propose space improvement projects
