Job Summary
The Senior Creative Designer will lead the development of high-impact visual content across video and digital platforms for Kens Apothecary. This role will focus on creating dynamic, engaging, and brand-aligned video and graphic content to enhance Kens Apothecary’s online presence and digital storytelling efforts. As a senior member of the creative team, the Senior Creative Designer will work closely with the Art Director to ensure a cohesive visual strategy that resonates with the company’s brand identity and audience expectations.
Key Responsibilities
Video Content Creation
- Conceptualize, film, and edit high-quality video content for social media, websites, and other digital platforms.
- Plan and execute video shoots, managing on-site setup, lighting, and direction to achieve visually appealing content.
- Edit footage to produce polished videos that align with brand standards, incorporating animations, transitions, and effects as needed.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop video content that supports campaigns, product launches, and other brand initiatives.
- Stay updated on industry trends in video content and recommend innovative techniques to enhance video quality and audience engagement.
Digital Design
- Create compelling digital designs, including website assets, social media graphics, email templates, banners, and advertisements, adhering to brand guidelines.
- Develop concepts and layouts for digital campaigns, ensuring all designs are visually cohesive and meet project objectives.
- Work closely with the Art Director to adapt brand visuals and messaging for digital channels, focusing on maintaining Kens Apothecary's premium aesthetic.
- Experiment with typography, color schemes, and layout compositions to produce original and engaging digital visuals.
Brand and Visual Strategy
- Collaborate with the Art Director to develop and maintain a consistent brand voice and aesthetic across digital platforms.
- Provide creative input and feedback to the team on projects, ensuring high standards of visual quality and alignment with brand objectives.
- Lead the development of digital content that aligns with Kens Apothecary's marketing calendar and seasonal promotions.
Project Management
- Manage multiple projects concurrently, ensuring timely delivery of assets that meet high-quality standards.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, e-commerce, and social media, to coordinate project timelines and ensure alignment on creative goals.
- Maintain organized files and documentation for each project, ensuring a streamlined workflow and ease of access for future needs.
Creative Innovation
- Stay informed of emerging trends in digital design, social media content, and video production, bringing fresh ideas and techniques to the team.
- Actively research competitors and industry leaders to continuously enhance Kens Apothecary’s creative output.
Required Skills and Qualifications
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Multimedia, Digital Arts, or a related field.
Experience: Minimum of 4-5 years of experience in digital design and video content creation, preferably within the beauty, retail, or luxury sectors.
Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (After Effects, Premiere Pro, Photoshop, Illustrator).
- Familiarity with video production equipment and lighting setups.
- Experience with motion graphics, animation, and 3D design is a plus.
- Knowledge of social media platforms and digital marketing trends.
Creativity: Strong creative vision with attention to detail, a good eye for aesthetics, and the ability to translate concepts into visual stories.
Communication Skills: Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to present ideas effectively and incorporate feedback.
Time Management: Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously under tight deadlines.
