Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced PTP (AP) - Invoicing, Team Lead to invoce processing in our SSC team. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in AP within SSc environment, and be proficient in managing relationships with key stakeholders.

What You Will Do

  • Ensure accurate and timely processing of all vendor invoices and expenses.
  • Manage, guide, and supervise a team of at least 5 staff members to ensure accurate and efficient daily vendor invoice processing.
  • Resolve discrepancies with external stakeholders and other departments.
  • Develop guidelines for proper handling and coding of invoices to maintain accurate general ledger expense accounts.
  • Support daily Accounts Payable operations, including the resolution of PO and Non-PO invoice discrepancies and other open items.
  • Review AP reports and take follow-up action to resolve aged items.
  • Review monthly expenses to ensure expenses are booked correctly.
  • Verify that transactions comply with internal policies and procedures.
  • Perform month-end reconciliations of the AP Aging Report with the trial balance, in collaboration with other accounting team members.
  • Work with the Accounting team to make necessary reclassifications if required.
  • Participate in monthly closing activities, including intercompany transactions.
  • Continuously streamline and automate processes, including system design, project management, and user acceptance testing.
  • Set goals, targets, and KPIs for team members and closely monitor their performance to ensure continuous improvement and achievement of objectives.
  • Work on ad-hoc projects, perform system user acceptance testing, and assist with the integration of any new acquisitions.

What You Will Need:

  • Minimum degree or equivalent qualification with an emphasis in quantitative discipline such as Accounting & Finance.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in Accounts Payable or similar finance/accounting role.
  • Experience in Finance Shared Services.
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in leading PTP Invoicing Team.
  • Strong leadership and people management skills with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
  • Intermediate IT skills including exposure to ERP systems with ability to interpret and maximize system functionalities. Proficiency in Excel is mandatory.
  • A self-starter capable of managing multiple activities and priorities. Proactive and enthusiastic.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and a good team player with a positive customer service mindset.
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize, in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. Experience in a deadline driven environment where quality must be maintained.
  • Detail-oriented with strong analytical, problem-solving, and financial skills.
  • Highly motivated and willing to accept changes & challenges.
