    Fashion Purchasing and Supplier Management:

    • Source high-quality fabrics, trims, and other materials required for production, aligning with market trends and client specifications.
    • Negotiate with suppliers to secure favorable terms on pricing, lead times, and quality assurance.
    • Evaluate suppliers regularly, maintaining and building relationships with trusted partners.
    • Conduct market research to stay updated on fabric trends, materials, and pricing.
    • Manage the purchasing process end-to-end, ensuring materials arrive on schedule to meet production timelines.

      Order and Production Oversight:

      • Coordinate closely with the production team to ensure that each order is produced to client specifications and meets the agreed-upon timeline.
      • Follow up with clients on any adjustments, updates, or customization requirements throughout the production cycle.
      • Maintain quality control by overseeing pre-production samples, ensuring they align with client expectations.

        Market Research and Strategic Planning:

        • Conduct market analysis to identify emerging trends and potential gaps in the market.
        • Offer strategic recommendations based on consumer preferences and competitor offerings.
        • Regularly report on market conditions, supplier performance, and client satisfaction.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Fashion Merchandising, Marketing, or a related field (preferred but not mandatory).
  • 3+ years of experience in business development, sales, or purchasing, ideally within the garment or fashion industry.
  • Proven experience in managing supplier relationships and purchasing high-quality materials.

    Skills:

    • Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
    • Ability to manage multiple tasks with excellent attention to detail.
    • Knowledge of garment materials, fashion trends, and quality standards.
    • Proficiency in market research and strategic sourcing.
