About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled Marketing Manager with a strong focus on social media management and fluency in Mandarin. The ideal candidate will have experience in both digital and traditional marketing, with an emphasis on driving brand awareness, engagement, and business growth through social media channels. You will be responsible for developing comprehensive marketing strategies, managing social media platforms, and ensuring the company’s messaging resonates with Mandarin-speaking audiences.
Key Responsibilities:
- Social Media Management (Priority): Develop and manage social media strategies to increase brand presence and customer engagement. Oversee content creation, scheduling, and performance analysis across platforms like WeChat, Weibo, Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, etc.
- Strategy Development: Create integrated marketing strategies that drive business objectives, focusing on social media growth, lead generation, and customer retention.
- Content Creation & Oversight: Collaborate with content creators and designers to develop compelling content for social media, websites, blogs, and email campaigns. Ensure content is culturally relevant and resonates with both local and Mandarin-speaking audiences.
- Market Research & Insights: Conduct market analysis to identify trends and customer preferences, particularly within Mandarin-speaking communities. Use insights to inform marketing strategies and optimize social media performance.
- Brand & Messaging: Ensure consistent brand messaging across all social media channels. Strengthen the company’s brand presence, with a focus on increasing visibility in Mandarin-speaking markets.
- Agency & Vendor Collaboration: Manage relationships with external marketing agencies and social media influencers to execute campaigns targeting Mandarin-speaking audiences.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams such as product, sales, and design to ensure marketing efforts are aligned with business goals and social media activities are integrated into overall campaigns.
- Budget Management: Manage social media and marketing budgets, ensuring cost-effective allocation of resources and a focus on maximizing return on investment (ROI).
- Reporting & Analytics: Monitor and report on social media performance, campaign effectiveness, and engagement metrics. Use data-driven insights to continuously improve social media strategies.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
- More than 3 years of experience in social media management, with a proven track record of growing brand presence and engagement.
- Fluent in Mandarin and English (both written and spoken).
- Prior experience in a marketing agency with a focus on social media campaigns is a plus.
- Strong understanding of social media platforms, tools, and trends, particularly for both Western and Mandarin-speaking audiences (e.g., WeChat, Weibo).
- Ability to analyze social media data and trends, using insights to optimize strategy and performance.
- Excellent project management, leadership, and team collaboration skills.
- Experience managing social media and marketing budgets with a focus on maximizing ROI.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to create compelling content for different platforms.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous experience working in Mandarin-speaking markets or targeting Mandarin-speaking audiences.
- Familiarity with social media marketing tools and analytics platforms (Is good to have).
- Experience working in a fast-paced, high-growth environment, preferably in a Marketing agency.
- Experience driving business growth through social media marketing strategies.
