Job Summary
Oversee and lead development, implementation and monitoring of sales and marketing capability development framework, plans, training, processes, tools and systems, etc., to drive sales and marketing excellence

General Responsibilities
  • Oversee and manage departmental operating budgets and costs according to annual allocation to ensure efficient usage of resources
  • Develop and implement a robust sales and marketing capability development framework to govern all employee development activities
  • Oversee the development, execution and monitoring of capability development plans and initiatives to drive sales and marketing excellence
  • Lead development and implementation of processes, tools and systems to support capability development activities
  • Establish selection or hiring criteria for sales and marketing trainers (internal/external). Create a platform for continuous up-skilling to ensure the execution of quality training programs
  • Lead the development and implementation of training programs to increase sales and marketing competencies, including delivery of training modules
  • Oversee the monitoring of post-development outcomes (e.g. competency gaps closed, application of skills, etc.) and fine-tune development plans to ensure training return on investment
  • Develop a structured approach in measuring effectiveness of the sales and marketing framework, plans, training, processes, tools and systems, etc. Lead improvement initiatives on learning platforms
  • Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to anticipate their development needs and customize development solutions that will increase their competency levels
  • Build and maintain long-term relationships with external vendors to ensure sustainability of provided services


Functional Skills And Knowledge
  • Demonstrate sound knowledge and understanding of the industry/market/competitors/customers
  • Demonstrate sound knowledge in the general principles of sales and marketing; familiarity with the sales and marketing environment is a must
  • Demonstrate advanced research and analytical skills
  • Demonstrate proficiencies in office productivity tools (e.g. Excel, Word and PowerPoint)
  • Demonstrate fluency in English, both written and spoken


Education

Degree or professional qualification in Business Studies/Marketing/Economics or a related discipline
