Procurement Buyer (Direct Materials - E&E)

Responsibility:

• Research potential vendors and evaluate suppliers.
• Compare, analysis and evaluate offers from suppliers.
• Negotiate contract terms of agreement and pricing.
• Track orders and ensure timely delivery.
• Review quality of purchased products.
• Attending events, shows, and exhibitions to network with vendors and view new products if any.
• Enter order/suppliers’ details (e.g., vendors, quantities, prices) into internal databases.
• Maintain updated records of purchased products, delivery information and invoices.
• Prepare reports on purchases, including cost analyses.
• Monitor stock levels and place orders as needed.
• Coordinate with warehouse staff to ensure proper storage.
• Inspecting purchased products upon delivery and feedback to supplier any issues timely if any.

Requirement:

• Bilingual in English & Mandarin.
• Minimum Diploma in Supply Chain/Procurement and/or Professional qualifications or any other discipline.
• Good knowledge in Procurement, Supply Chain.
• Proficient in Microsoft excel, power point and outlook.
• Working knowledge of ISO standards and/or other relevant international standards.
• Highly resourceful, able to work under pressure and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication skills both verbally and written.
• Possess strong sense of commitment.
• Detail-oriented, able to multi-task in fast paced environment.
• Self-motivated, proactive and able to work independently.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: RM3,000.00 - RM5,000.00 per month
