The Job:

As the Assistant Manager / Manager for Product Marketing, you will be responsible for our product development and management. Besides dealing with the challenges that come along with this portfolio, you will also experience and contribute to our dynamic working culture. Your responsibilities will require you to communicate extensively with various stakeholders both internally within the Company or group of companies and externally with our business partners.

Below is a synopsis of your job functions:

Product planning:

    -Responsible for the new and existing product planning and execution throughout the product lifecycle including gathering and prioritizing product and customer requirements, defining the product positioning. -To develop both short- and long-term product pipeline plan after considering stakeholders’ feedback, market trends, and consumer insights. -Collaborate with both internal & stakeholders in defining our product and technology roadmaps to formulate and execute plans to fill any gaps that may exist.

Market research:

    -Conduct consumer / market research by maintaining understanding of market landscape, customer requirements and mapping of competitor’s activities. -Responsible for analysing market trend and data using internal and external secondary research and hands on primary research to provide perspective to influence portfolio of products. -Identifying product gap and business opportunities against competitor’s product range line-up.

Business management:

    -Manage all product lifecycle, monitor performance and make adjustments to overall product plans based on results and feedbacks. -Responsible for pricing structure, cost analysis, setting business sales target and forecasting of sales. -Consolidate sales, retail plan and functional plan for new initiatives. -Responsible for tracking and reporting performance of product launches.
