Bhd. is a leading steel processing company in Malaysia, specializing in the supply of high-quality core building materials for Industrialized Building Systems (IBS). Tasks & responsibilities 1. Set up and operate welding equipment. 2. Perform welding on metal joints using flux-cored arc welding. 3. Read and interpret technical drawings and specifications to determine project requirements. 4. Carry out welding tasks to join, fabricate and repair metal. 5. Inspect welded surfaces and structures to identify flaws and ensure compliance with specifications and standards. 6. Maintain welding equipment and tools in good condition. 7. Undertake any other responsibilities assigned by the Department Head from time to time. Qualifications & experience 1. Proven experience as a welder or in a similar role, preferably in manufacturing. 2. Familiarity with welding codes and standards. 3. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints and schematics. 4. Physical stamina and dexterity to perform welding tasks in various positions and environments. 5. Certification in welding from a recognized institution is preferred.
