Cafe Service Crew

Position Purpose Responsible for the efficient daily operations of St. Nicholas’ Home, Penang Café, ensuring high standards of service quality and a welcoming environment. Key Responsibilities 1. Oversee daily café operations to provide a smooth and efficient service experience. 2. Ensure a consistently clean, comfortable, and professional environment in the café. 3. Manage inventory by restocking items daily and reporting shortages to the Business Development (BD) Officer. 4. Regularly check and maintain equipment, reporting any malfunctions promptly to the BD Officer. 5. Actively promote daily menu items and special promotions to customers. 6. Follow food handling and safety standards to deliver high-quality food and beverages at all times. 7. Perform daily opening and closing procedures for the café. 8. Ensure food and beverages are prepared according to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) established by the BD Officer. 9. Greet and assist customers in a warm, friendly manner and take their orders. 10. Handle customer complaints courteously, escalating unresolved issues to the BD Officer when necessary. 11. Manage payment transactions accurately and efficiently. 12. Submit daily sales reports to the BD Officer. 13. Adhere to all safety regulations associated with assigned tasks. 14. Basic knowledge of Barista 15. Take on additional duties or tasks as assigned by the General Manager.
