Aquaculture Internship

Job Description: Fish Farming Support:  Assist in daily fish feeding, monitoring health, and tracking growth rates. Water Quality Monitoring:  Help with testing and recording water quality parameters, such as temperature, pH, and dissolved oxygen. Packing Assistance:  Support the packing team in preparing and packaging fish for distribution, ensuring proper labelling and handling procedures. Inventory Management:  Assist in managing inventory of supplies and feed, including tracking usage and reporting needs. General Maintenance:  Participate in the upkeep of aquaculture facilities, including cleaning tanks and maintaining equipment. Data Recording:  Help maintain accurate records of fish stock, feeding schedules, and water quality data. Collaboration:  Work alongside other team members in various departments, providing support as needed to ensure smooth operations. Qualifications: - Currently pursuing a degree in Aquaculture, Marine Biology, Environmental Science, or a related field. - Strong interest in aquaculture and marine sciences. - Ability to work both independently and as part of a team. - Excellent communication and organizational skills. - Willingness to learn and take on diverse tasks.
