Position Summary: Perform repair and maintenance including keeping record data from assembly parts and monitor quality control of all aircraft and parts under the care and control of the Directors of the Company, including aircraft of subsidiary, associate companies, and private owners contracted with the Company. The position will be located in the Senai, Johor workplace, however the position may require work at other premises offsite which the company may designate from time to time. Work may include cooperation in compliance with various licensing from aviation authorites around the world, restoration of aircraft, building our aircraft from kits onsite or offsite, and imparting knowledge and training to junior mechanics and interns engaged with the company. The Senior Aircraft Mechanic will be able to delegate certain labors to junior mechanics and interns under supervision. Responsibilities: 1. Perform repair and maintenance including comprehensive record keeping and monitor quality control 2. Perform works on all internal or externally contracted jobs by the Company 3. Cooperate in preparation of operations certificates as required by Aviation Authorities 4. Supervise and impart knowledge to junior mechanics and engineering interns 5. Perform restoration work on unserviceable aircraft to become serviceable and airworthy 6. Build, assemble, or install aircraft or components imported as kits 7. Engage in projects offsite under the scope of maintenance, repair, and restoration 8. Engage in additional sponsored training for keeping up to date or for new aviation technology Position Prerequisites: 1. Experience with multiple types of piston engine aircraft to be determined adequate by employer 2. Airframe and Powerplant experience for piston driven aircraft 3. English Proficiency 4. Licensed Aircraft mechanic credentials 5. Willing to travel for additional sponsored training and license conversions with employment bond Additional Competitive Considerations: 1. FAA Licensed aircraft mechanic credentials 2. Experience with multiple types of turbine engine aircraft (specifically aircraft under 9000kg MTOW) 3. Airframe and powerplant for turbine driven aircraft 4. Experience with piston or turbine Rotorcraft category aircraft 5. Experience with seaplanes
