As a Staff/Senior Engineer CE PYE (Physical Failure Analysis), you will play a pivotal role in ensuring flawless execution of our engineering processes.
Responsibilities:
- Perform sophisticated electrical device characterization to determine electrical fail mechanisms.
- Operate fault isolation equipment to accurately narrow down failure defect locations.
- Conduct physical failure analysis to identify and classify physical defects.
- Establish and hypothesize potential electrical or process fail mechanisms based on detailed electrical fail models and physical failure analysis characterization, supporting process improvement.
- Collaborate closely with a diverse range of collaborators, including teams from frontend to backend and the Global Quality (GQ) department, to address and resolve defectivity issues.
- Prepare and present comprehensive electrical and physical failure mechanisms on a weekly basis to drive continuous improvement.
- Develop and implement new fault isolation and physical failure analysis techniques to stay ahead of industry standards.
- Lead and guide a team of CE PYE technicians, encouraging a collaborative and ambitious work environment.
- Coordinate the maintenance and high uptime of fault isolation and physical failure analysis tools to ensure world-class operational efficiency.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's or equivalent experience, Master's or equivalent experience, or PhD degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering.
- Proven experience as a great teammate with outstanding analytical and problem-solving skills and a strong drive to excel.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present complex information effectively in large meetings.
- Highly motivated individuals with a passion for innovation and excellence.
- Knowledge of fault isolation equipment, techniques, and physical failure analysis is a significant advantage.
- Strong understanding of non-volatile NAND devices and knowledge of Fab processes is a desirable asset.
- Ability to support shift rotation as required to meet operational needs.
