Under the supervision of the Chief Operating Officer (COO), the Head of Human Resource serves as a member of the leadership team, leading and managing the Human Resource function both on a day to day operational and ongoing strategic basis.
Specifically, will be responsible for policy development and implementation, recruitment and hiring, organization orientation, legislation compliance, industrial/employee relations, and retention.
Scope of Duties:
- Familiar with the full functions of Human Resources Management.
- Demonstrates leadership competencies and values, be the role model to the team.
- Aligns management style, working practices and conduct with ReGen Rehab Hospital operating standards and policies.
- Ensures the operations efficiency of the department, including but not limited to recruitment, learning and employee development, compensation and benefits, employees’ engagement, performance management and other related functions.
- Provides professional support and advice to all managers and employees in relation to Human Resource issues including technical competence, behaviors, industrial/employee relations.
- Obtains accurate employee market data and presents clear analysis to the leadership team as part of the strategic planning process.
- Develops and implements HR strategy to achieve results as required on an annual basis.
- Drive recruitment according to business needs.
- Oversees the training and development plan according to business inputs.
- Drives together with Divisional leaders’ productivities KPI’s.
- Facilitates and works with Management Team performance appraisal exercises, including administration, tabulation, and education to Managers to ensure fairness is applied pre and post process.
- Knowledge in Employment Act 1955 and Industrial Relations Act 1967.
- Encourages employees’ engagement through internal events and training activities.
- Manages employee benefit program and provides management with annual report and recommendations of benefits plans.
- Provides guidance and support to the team, drives a high-performing and motivated workforce.
Requirements:
- Degree / Diploma in Human Resources or related fields.
- At least 3 years’ experience in a similar position or capacity.
- Fluent to communicate and write in English as well as local language.
- Strong leadership and good interpersonal skills.
- Great organizing, planning, strategy thinking, conceptualizing skills and ability.
- Excellent knowledge of the local market, local labor laws and extensive experience in industrial relations.
