HT Chargeman

• To oversee of preventive maintenance of electrical, mechanical rotary and static equipment, also piping, hydraulic, air-conditioning and refrigeration equipment through involvement and delegation with subordinates. • To do routine inspection of Maintenance system in Complex for mechanical, electrical system, electronic system, civil and structural, etc. • To supervise and delegate duties to all mechanical and electrical subordinates staff. • To check stock level of engineering materials. • To plan, schedule and co-ordinate building mechanical and electrical maintenance works. • To liaise with general contractors. • To maintain all air-conditioning equipment, refrigeration units, piping, electrical works and associated equipment. • To submit reports in general. • To prepare duty/leave rosters for shift and workshop personnel. • To liaise with and keep informed at all times of current events falling within the scope. • To attend daily maintenance meetings. • To carry out shift duties, split shifts or when called upon to perform odd duties whenever a person of the same category trade falls sick, is on vacation or absent from duties and or as called upon to do so from time to time as directed by superiors. • Monitor Maintenance Requisition Form for all departments, traces them and follows up on work to be accomplished and prepares the necessary purchase requests. • Recommends to the Chief Engineer / Maintenance Manager improvements in new technology to improve the overall performance of the maintenance department.
