Develop, implement, and maintain safety policies and procedures in compliance with local, state, and federal regulations. Conduct regular safety inspections and audits of the workplace to identify hazards and recommend corrective actions. Provide safety training to employees, ensuring they understand safety policies, emergency procedures, and equipment usage. Organize and conduct safety drills and workshops. Investigate accidents and incidents, prepare reports, and recommend improvements to prevent future occurrences. Ensure compliance with Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) regulations and other relevant safety laws. Maintain records of safety inspections, incidents, and training sessions. Ensure that all safety equipment is properly maintained, used, and available for employees. Conduct regular checks on personal protective equipment (PPE). Work with management and employees to promote a culture of safety within the organization. Liaise with external safety agencies and regulatory bodies as necessary. Prepare and present safety reports to management, highlighting safety performance, trends, and areas for improvement. Develop and implement emergency response plans and ensure that all employees are familiar with them. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Safety, Environmental Science, or a related field (preferred). Certification in safety management (e.g., NEBOSH, OSHA 30-hour). Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in safety supervision or a related role. Skills: Strong knowledge of safety regulations and standards. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to analyze and solve problems effectively. Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills. Proficient in using safety management software and tools. Work Environment: This role may require working in various environments, including construction sites, manufacturing facilities, or office settings. Some travel may be required for site inspections or training.
