PROCUREMENT MANAGER

JOB DESCRIPTION : -Lead and develop the workshop and warehouse teams to consistently meet or exceed KPIs. -Plan and structure work schedules for mechanics and purchasing staff to optimize productivity. -Provide guidance on quality standards, ensuring teams meet performance targets and deliver high-quality work. -Oversee the preparation of equipment for delivery and collection, ensuring timely and accurate execution. -Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors, negotiate contracts, and ensure suppliers meet company standards in quality, pricing, and reliability. -Manage the housekeeping and overall organization of the warehouse, ensuring a clean and well-structured environment. -Foster a safe and healthy workplace, upholding high cleanliness and safety standards. -Lead the negotiation of contracts with suppliers and service providers, ensuring favourable terms for the company -Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors, negotiate contracts, and ensure suppliers meet company standards in quality, pricing, and reliability. -Support and implement long-term strategies to optimize workshop and purchasing operations. -Take on additional responsibilities as assigned to contribute to overall operational success Requirement: -Minimum Diploma / Degree in Business Administration or relevant field -Minimum 5 years’ working experience in procurement. Experience in workshop management will be an added advantage -Proven experience in strategic sourcing, supplier management, and contract negotiation. -Strong knowledge of procurement best practices & workshop operations.
