System Quality Engineer

• Oversee the quality standards of the engineering process organization system • Develop, implement, audit and update quality standards and quality control systems • Investigate project sites and problems arise and consider corrective measures to make improvements. • Ensure detailed quality procedures for each stage of production and system development. • Update and maintain quality procedures to reflect changes in production processes, technology and regulatory requirements. • Inspects raw materials and components received to ensure they meet quality specifications. • Work with suppliers to resolve any quality issues and improve material quality. • Conduct periodic testing throughout the production process to detect and promptly address quality non-conformities. • Implement corrective actions and process improvements to prevent recurrence of quality issues. • Perform final inspection and testing of finished products to ensure they meet all quality requirements before shipping to customers. • Document and address any quality issues identified during the final inspection. • Collect and analyze quality data to identify trends, problems and improvement opportunities. • Using data analysis to drive decision making and process improvement. • Conduct regular internal audits to ensure compliance with quality standards and procedures. • Provide documentation required to comply with standards • Provide support and documentation during external audits by certification bodies. • Lead or support quality improvement projects for process improvement. • Hold regular meetings with the project team to discuss quality issues and improvement measures. • Assess quality risks associated with materials, processes and products. • Develop and implement strategies and action plans to mitigate identified risks. • Keep abreast of the latest developments in quality technology and recommend the introduction of new technologies that can improve product quality. • Integrate new technologies into the production process to improve quality and efficiency.
