Accountant

We are seeking a qualified Accountant to join our dynamic team at SVI Technologies. The ideal candidate will be responsible for handling all accounting functions for the company, including e-invoicing. This role requires a strong understanding of accounting principles and practices, as well as proficiency in e-invoicing software. Responsibilities • Financial Accounting: • Prepare and analyze financial statements (income statement, balance sheet, cash flow statement) • Manage general ledger and ensure accurate posting of transactions • Reconcile bank and credit card accounts • Assist with budget preparation and variance analysis • E-Invoicing: • Manage e-invoicing system and ensure compliance with government regulations • Generate and send e-invoices to customers • Receive and process e-invoices from suppliers • Tax Compliance: • Prepare and file corporate tax returns • Ensure compliance with all relevant tax regulations • Manage tax audits and assessments • Accounts Receivable: • Manage customer accounts and follow up on outstanding payments • Prepare and send invoices • Handle customer inquiries and disputes • Accounts Payable: • Process vendor invoices and ensure timely payments • Manage supplier relationships and negotiate terms Qualifications • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance • Minimum 3 years of experience in accounting • Proficiency in e-invoicing software (e.g., e-invoicing platforms, ERP systems) • Attention to detail and accuracy • Strong organizational and time management skills • Ability to work independently and as part of a team • Preferred Qualifications: • CPA certification • Experience in the technology industry • Knowledge of Malaysian accounting standards and tax regulations
