Track changes in environmental laws and standards relevant to plastic recycling and implement necessary updates to compliance practices. Environmental Audits and Inspections Conduct internal environmental audits to evaluate the company’s compliance status. Prepare for and participate in external inspections by regulatory agencies and respond to any findings or required improvements. Pollution Control and Waste Management Oversee pollution control measures to minimize emissions, water contamination, and waste by-products. Ensure that waste disposal processes, including plastic residues, meet environmental standards. Documentation and Reporting Prepare and maintain detailed compliance reports, incident records, and audit findings. Submit required documentation to regulatory bodies as needed and ensure transparency with authorities on compliance matters. Incident Investigation and Risk Management Investigate any environmental incidents or compliance breaches, determining root causes and corrective actions. Develop risk assessments and mitigation strategies to prevent future incidents or environmental harm. Environmental Training and Awareness Programs Provide training to staff on environmental best practices, compliance requirements, and the proper handling of recyclable and hazardous materials. Promote a culture of environmental responsibility within the company. Collaboration with Regulatory Bodies Act as the company’s primary contact for environmental regulatory bodies, handling inquiries, inspections, and reporting requirements. Engage in continuous dialogue with agencies to maintain an up-to-date understanding of compliance expectations.
