MAIN JOB TASKS & RESPONSIBILITIES 1.Content Strategy Development: - Develop and execute a comprehensive content strategy for STEM materials that meets the needs of various educational stakeholders. - Identify emerging trends in STEM education and incorporate them into the content development process. 2.Team Leadership: -Lead and manage a team of content developers, subject matter experts, and instructional designers. -Foster a collaborative and innovative team culture to enhance creativity and productivity. 3.Curriculum Design: -Design and oversee the development of STEM curricula and resources for different educational levels, including K-12 and higher education. -Ensure alignment with educational standards and learning outcomes. 4.Content Creation: -Write, edit, and review STEM educational materials, including lesson plans, interactive activities, assessments, and multimedia content. -Utilize various formats, such as digital platforms, videos, and print materials, to enhance learning experiences. 5.Quality Assurance: -Implement rigorous quality assurance processes to ensure content accuracy, relevance, and engagement. -Gather feedback from educators and learners to continuously improve content. 6.Collaboration and Networking: -Build and maintain partnerships with educational institutions, organizations, and industry experts to enhance content relevance and credibility. -Represent the organization at conferences, workshops, and other events to promote STEM initiatives. 7.Professional Development: -Provide training and support for educators on the effective use of STEM content and resources. -Stay current with advancements in STEM education and technology to inform content development. 8.Budget Management: -Oversee the budgeting and resource allocation for content development projects. -Evaluate and manage external vendors and consultants as necessary. Qualifications: Education: Master’s degree or higher in Education, STEM fields, or a related discipline. Experience: 10+ years of experience in educational content development, with a focus on STEM subjects. Leadership experience is preferred. Skills: Strong understanding of instructional design principles and best practices in STEM education. Excellent writing, editing, and communication skills. Proficiency in using digital content development tools and platforms. Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
