Power BI Developer

Power BI Development: Assist in creating and maintaining interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI. Support data transformation and modeling to develop optimized data sources for reporting. Collaborate with senior developers to troubleshoot and optimize Power BI performance. Integration with Microsoft CoPilot: Learn and leverage Microsoft CoPilot AI tools to automate processes and enhance reporting capabilities. Assist in configuring AI-driven insights and actions to improve user interaction with Power BI reports. IT Support: Provide Level 1 support for Power BI and related reporting tools. Troubleshoot user-reported issues related to Power BI reports, data connections, and access permissions. Coordinate with the IT team to address more complex system issues and escalate when needed. Documentation: Create and maintain detailed documentation on Power BI dashboards, data models, and workflows. Develop user manuals, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and quick reference guides for end-users. Document data flows, integration points, and business logic used in reports. User Training: Assist in the development of training materials for end-users on how to use Power BI reports and dashboards effectively. Conduct one-on-one or group training sessions to educate users on self-service BI tools and report interpretation. Provide ongoing user support and guidance to ensure efficient use of reporting tools. Go-Live Support: Participate in Power BI project go-live activities, ensuring smooth transitions from development to production environments. Monitor the initial launch of Power BI reports and dashboards to identify and resolve any issues. Provide on-site or remote support during the critical post-go-live phase. Collaboration & Communication: Work closely with business analysts and end-users to gather and refine reporting requirements. Regularly communicate with the IT and Business Intelligence teams to ensure alignment on project goals and timelines. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure data accuracy and consistency across all reporting platforms. Continuous Learning & Improvement: Stay updated on the latest Power BI features, best practices, and industry trends. Proactively seek opportunities to enhance reporting functionality and improve user experience.
