SITE ENGINEER

Site Engineer - Civil Location: Based in Padang Lalang, Kuantan, Pahang Getra is currently a subsidiary of Citaglobal Berhad and the main contractor for Telekom Malaysia on the East Coast of Peninsular Malaysia. We specialize in telco installations involving civil and cabling works. We are looking for a Site Engineer to run our daily operation. Job Descriptions: • Responsible to execute – plan, coordinate and monitor the civil progress of TNB substation projects (Client: TNB) / Responsible to execute and supervise the progress of the site construction works of TNB substation (switchyard/building) (Client: TNB) • To assist the project managers/consultants in the implementation, monitoring, and control of progress of the project works within the targeted time line, and to ensure works carried out according to all technical/safety requirements. • To assist the project team of engineers/project managers in the implementation and supervision of the project progress to meet the time line • To organize, monitor and control progressively the performance of the sub-contractors, supplier's quality of materials, output of the machineries engaged and overall efficiency of the works to the highest level in accordance to the drawings and specifications. • To monitor closely and take prompt action on all issues related to project progress to ensure the project progress is always on track or ahead. • To fully assist and play important role in the project management and ensuring all project documents are in good order at all time. • Responsible and ensuring in preparing and maintaining all site reports/project documents in good order at all time. Job Requirements: • Candidate must be a graduate with Degree in Engineering (Civil) or equivalent. • At least 2 years minimum working experience in the related field is required. Besides that, should there be overall working experience of more than four (4) years available, it will be highly considered • Required Skill (s): Ms Office, Ms Project, Auto Cad • Required language: Bahasa Malaysia & English • Applicants must be willing to work at project site located at Pahang. • Highly dedicated, good interpersonal/communication skills, responsible and team focused • One (1) full time position available for immediate vacancy (site based). • Good Interpersonal and Communication Skills • Prior experience in TNB substation projects will be an added advantage. • Candidates who are available and can start immediately are encouraged to apply.
